hady mirzaSingapore and Asian Idol, Hady Mirza, bagged three awards, including one for Most Popular Regional Song, at MediaCorp's Radio Regional Malay Music Awards or Anugerah Planet Muzik 2011.The event was held at Max Pavillion, Singapore Expo on Friday night.Hady won for his song "Angkasa" or "Space" from his first full album "Sang Penyanyi" or "The Singer".Hady emerged the biggest winner of the night, clinching three awards out of the seven categories he was nominated in.His other two awards are for Most Popular Singapore Artiste and Most Popular Singapore Song.
Honouring the best in the regional Malay music industry, 17 awards were presented during the three-hour live show.
There were also dazzling performances from Singapore, Malaysian and Indonesian artistes including Singapore Idols Taufik Batisah and Sezairi Sezali.
Organised by MediaCorp Radio's Ria 89.7FM and Warna 94.2FM, the event also marked Radio's 75th anniversary celebrations.
