live scoreHe's the world's leading wicket-taker in 2011, Sharma. Not that 2011 has seen a great deal of Test cricket just yet. Ravi Rampaul and Devendra Bishoo are in joint second place. Strauss gets a single off his pads, and a bat-pad man comes in for Trott, who's showing a propensity to stepping across and trying to clip to leg. He manages it there, though, flicking a straighter ball very fine and getting his first boundary. Things might just start moving a little quicker now Sharma's in the attack. OVER 16: ENG 30/1 Strauss 12* Trott 4
The sun's just trying to poke its head out at Lord's, but not quite managing it just yet. Praveen's still shuffling in, and still swinging it, and after watching a few, Trott gets across and glances it down to deep mid-wicket. Sharma runs round at deep square leg, doesn't mess up his sliding stop - and isn't it strange that with Indian fielders, you more or less expect them to? - and keeps them down to two. Praveen's particularly nostalgic brand of outswing been compared to many things this morning - Mike Smith, Martin Bicknell, Mudassar Nazar, Jon Lewis, Terry Alderman. Can I just toss Phil Newport into the mix? Cheers.
