ramadan mubarak

Move One would like to inform its clients that there is likely to be a lag in shipment and clearance procedures in some countries, as Muslims around the world mark the beginning of the sacred month of Ramadan. During this period, working hours of federal and state ministries, customs offices and other government institutions will be restricted, causing possible delays. Please note that this may affect the schedule of deliveries as well. In case of any hindrance, shipments will be securely held in our warehouses or at the ports and might be subject to additional charges. About Ramadan:

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, during which Muslims all over the world fast and reaffirm the principles of their faith by engaging in self-reformation, spiritual cleansing and enlightenment. From dawn to sunset during the 30 days, Muslims are obligated to abstain from food, drinks and material pleasures in order to concentrate on prayer and worship. In addition to fasting, devout Muslims are encouraged to read the entire Qur’an, pray more frequently and focus on charity, good deeds, kindness and helping others. The month concludes with Eid ul-Fitr, a day of celebration for the completion of Ramadan and the re-invigoration of faith, per the lunar sighting. Festivals are held, food is donated to the poor, new clothes are worn and communal prayers are held in the early morning, followed by feasting and visiting relatives and friends.
