iaahas objected to the Irish Aviation Authority's (IAA) advice to cancel flights to and from Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen today. In a message on its website, the low-cost pioneer (which introduced a £2/€2 levy on 4 April to fund flight cancellations, delays and EU261 costs) said it "strongly objects" and believes "there is no basis for these flight cancellations".The airline is expected to meet with officials at the IAA this morning and has also said that it, with other affected carriers, will be "complaining to the Transport Minister and Regulatory Authorities.Passengers may rebook free of charge or apply for a refund online and, at the end of their travel alert, states: "Ryanair apologise sincerely for what we believe are unnecessary cancellations."The cancelled flights are:FR692 Alicante to Glasgow PrestwickINVISIBLE_TEXTFR7824 Barcelona Girona to Glasgow Prestwick
