Catalyst systems and scenario

The Catalyst project demonstrates that service providers who can control network quality are uniquely positioned to capture new cloud revenues by offering quality-guaranteed cloud services and more attractive price plansService delivery quality levels are measured in near real-time by Cariden's MATE software and compared to the service level agreements (SLAs) provided by the HP Universal SLA Manager (USLAM). HP USLAM builds subscription level SLAs as part of each cloud service bundle and offers visibility of SLA performance through an end user portal, provided by the HP Aggregation Platform for SaaS (AP4SaaS). The service delivery quality measurements are factored into planning of IT and network resource consumption, modeled using Amdocs OSS and Aria Networks products. These measurements are also factored into settlement schemes adjustments and price optimization for services offered by cloud wholesalers and resellers, using Amdocs' revenue management products.
