human centipede

human centipede a 1992 film that involved a young boy killing his family, originally had its certification and the filmmaker was preparing for the film's release, the Independent reports.. It was only after a gruesome murder in Great Britain by two young boys that the BBFC demanded the return of the certification, fearing the movie would inspire more violence. The ban on this film is still in effect and there is no sign of the moratorium being lifted any time soon.

"Grotesque" is a horror movie from 2009 that was banned for "sexual sadism." The British Board of Film Classification believed that this film didn't have enough plot line to justify the amount of violence it contained, according to the Guardian. The Japanese film could not be cut down enough to gain certification without losing its artistic vision.

Thank you BBFC for putting spoilers of my movie on your website and thank you for banning my film in this exceptional way. Apparently I made an horrific horror-film, but shouldn’t a good horror film be horrific? My dear people it is a f****cking MOVIE. It is all fictional. Not real. It is all make-belief [sic]. It is art. Give people their own choice to watch it or not. If people can’t handle or like my movies they just don’t watch them. If people like my movies they have to be able to see it any time, anywhere also in the UK.”
