the script

the script A weak point in our film had always been justifying the final scenario. As we based our script off Stella’s character bios, it seemed fitting to use the hit and run as an incident to spur on Annabelle’s emotional breakdown. However we soon came to learn in the editing process, that it was pretty difficult to convey the hit and run just with sound (we didn’t want it to feel too forced), and it seemed to be the least strong out of each of the scenarios. Which meant we would be ending the film not on the high note we had been intending. I had considered just after filming, swapping the hit and run scenario with the bottling one, as it seemed to pack the most punch. I went through the script over and over, yet I couldn’t seem to justify moving the scenarios around without completely destroying the dialogue and the point of it all.

The popular Irish group behind such hits as "Breakeven," "Live Like We Were Dying" and "For the First Time" heated up Toyota's Concert Series on TODAY when they performed these songs and more on TODAY on the plazaLucky for you, there are several ways you can join in on the fun -- whether you're watching the TODAY concerts from the sea of fans on our plaza or from your comfy couch photos of how you're watching on our Facebook page (post the pic directly to our wall), on Twitter (include the hashtag #TODAYconcerts or, for this week's performance, #TheScriptTODAY) and through Instagram.
home with him in the first place,” it would undermine the final scenario. We were wanting it to be the more realistic one after all. Then I thought of slipping it in mid-scene, just before the Red-Headed Girl starts getting hesitant and cautious. For me, I could never understand why her character all of a sudden realises OH HEY CREEPY GUY WHO’S TRYING TO TOUCH ME. Of course he was going to do that, dummy! So by having Lauren intervene, it was as if she was also intervening in the scenario and creating a dramatic shift in the tone. This also connected back to our initial idea of having the girls directly dictate, and change the visions as viewed by the audience
