Counter-clockwise flow around the system will continue pulling in warm and moist air from the Gulf of Mexico. This will push a warm front through the Midwest and up the Ohio River Valley. Expect widespread scattered showers and thunderstorms to pop up across the Central U.S. and Midwest, while severe storms are more likely to develop in the Mid-Mississippi River Valley and will move into Tennessee and Kentucky.
