
Jameson Taillon sat through a 2:11 delay before the same started, then came out and dominated, with seven strikeouts in four innings, the most he’s had since striking out eight in 4.2 innings on June 14th. He didn’t allow a run today until the 4th inning, on a two run homer to top Yankees prospect Gary Sanchez. Taillon has allowed four runs in nine innings over his last two starts, mostly due to homers, but has a 13:1 K/BB ratio in that stretch.
